The Rider Down Trust
The Rider Down Trust was set up in 2011 following the serious accident of Scott Shepherd from Derby in the UK. He suffered severe traumatic head injuries following his crash during a mountain bike 4cross race, and spent nearly 5 months in a coma.
Their aim at the Trust is to offer support and guidance to Scott and to other people in similar situations during their difficult situations, and to raise awareness into the importance of bike safety with young riders.
