Derby’s popular street food market is moving to a new location at Castleward from January this year.
Bustler Street Food Market, currently situated in the Riverlights complex behind Derby bus station, will now be serving its impressive street food offering from a new unit on John St, a 7 minute walk from its current location.
The market, which is in its second year of trading, has seen nearly 100,000 people pass through its doors to try some unique dishes you wouldn’t normally find in a restaurant.
Olivia Pritchard, owner of Bustler Market and self-confessed foodie, commented on the move: “The Riverlights complex had always been a temporary venue for Bustler, and moving to John St allows us to not only grow the market but improve our offering with some exciting new events planned for 2019, watch this space.”
The new venue will be officially opened on the 25th and 26th of January with a large free to enter event planned. Olivia continued: ”This won’t be any old party, this is Bustler, so expect something special.”
John St is situated halfway between Derby bus station and Derby train station. More details about the venue and directions of how to get there will be released early 2019.
