There’s always something exciting for students to get involved with at Derby Theatre thanks to it’s partnership with the University of Derby.
Theatre students in particular will get to know Derby Theatre quite well, as the theatre is a workspace for them and some of their lectures even take place in our auditorium!
All University of Derby students can receive £5 tickets, though – all they need to do is sign up with their student email address online or present their student ID at our box office.
They can bring their friends for £5, too, even if they’re not Derby students – as long as they’re aged 16 – 25, they can get tickets for a fiver on Fridays for shows including ‘Abigail’s Party’ and ‘Hansel & Gretel’.*
(* this offer is subject to availability and not available on all performances!)
If they enjoy getting to know us, students can also sign up to become Derby Theatre Student Ambassadors. This is an awesome opportunity to gain valuable experience working alongside our marketing team to spread the word about our productions across the Midlands.
