Festive family fun is coming to town this Christmas, as intu Derby welcomes the return of its popular Festive Forest play area.
The magical winter wonderland, which opens on Friday 16 November, features a snow ball pool, soft play area, glacier slides and ice-cool climbing area that excited adventurers are sure to love.
Santa Claus himself will be taking time out of his busy schedule to make special appearances and meet the children of Derbyshire every weekend in December, where he will be handing out special Christmas gifts and posing for photographs.
Official photographs will be available to purchase, making the perfect Christmas keepsake.
Parents can also enjoy relax and recharge in the snowy setting while the little ones explore and play.
Tickets are £3 for 30-minutes of play or £6 for a 30-minute play plus a meet and greet with Santa Claus, and can be booked in advance on the intu Derby website.
Carly Salisbury, marketing manager at intu Derby, said: “We’re incredibly excited to see the return of our Festive Forest this Christmas. We’re committed to offering families and children a wide variety of entertainment all through the year and the Festive Forest will provide the perfect place for parents to recharge while the kids explore.
“With play areas suitable for babies and children, and a very special guest joining us every weekend in December, be sure to visit the Festive Forest this Christmas for an unmissable family experience,” she added.
The Festive Forest is located opposite Iceland on Level 1 of the centre, and will be open from Friday 16 November until Christmas Eve.
