Derbion has announced that pre-loved clothing charity, White Rose, has joined the shopping destination’s expanding fashion offering.

White Rose, which offers handpicked and pre-loved clothes for men, women and children, to support the works of the Aegis Trust was established in 2009 by Grace Walker and Angie Ford, two Nottingham Trent University graduates, and has grown across the region ever since.

The store opened on Level 1 today (Thursday 29th September), and is White Rose’s first branch in Derby.

Derbion customers have the chance to discover a selection of carefully handpicked brands and fashion pieces, as well as pick up plenty of sustainable shopping inspiration in-store. The recycling fashion brand are committed to reduce fast fashion’s impact on the environment, reduce textile waste, and encourage shoppers to make kinder choices when it comes to purchasing and repurposing clothing.

White Rose also donates 100% of its profits to Aegis Trust, who helps genocide survivors rebuild their lives and educate one another through peace building programmes globally. So while picking out high-quality fashion pieces from popular brands, shoppers will be supporting a not-for-profit charity.

Adam Tamsett, Centre Director at Derbion, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome White Rose to the centre and are proud to be supporting such a distinctive retail offering, which will provide shoppers with the chance to shop sustainably.”

Jasmin Bryan, marketing assistant at White Rose, commented:

“We are thrilled for White Rose to be part of Derbion to help bring awareness of the Aegis Trust and push the sustainable fashion movement.

“Opening to the Derby community is a step forward to expanding our brand and thus a step forward in making a positive impact on the world."
