Timms Solicitors has announced the promotion of family lawyer Melissa Knight to the position of Associate Solicitor.
The role will see her take on increased responsibilities, including business management, financial oversight, and the mentoring and development of junior staff.
Melissa’s promotion marks a significant milestone—not only for her personally, but also for the firm—as she becomes the first to be appointed directly to the Associate role without completing Timms’ usual in-house development programme. Her progression is a reflection of her exceptional leadership, tireless commitment, and forward-thinking approach to family law.
