Backed by the Cathedral Quarter BID, St Peters Quarter BID, and Derby City Council, the tour will spotlight local entrepreneurs, celebrate their impact on our high streets and communities, and offer practical support in the run-up to Small Business Saturday on Saturday 6 December.
When & where
- Date: Friday 14 November
- Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm
- Location: Osnabruck Square, next to Derby’s newly opened £35m Market Hall
- Look out for: The tour “bus” – an electric van, reflecting the sustainable choices many small businesses are making on the road to net zero.
On the day
The team will be meeting traders and visiting local favourites including Critical Hit, Eagle Books, Spa Diamond, Happy Hour, Glamberry, Threadz, and Cheeky Pancakes.

A thriving city centre
Derby’s small business community continues to grow: new independents have opened across the city centre throughout 2025, with more set to arrive before year-end.
