Charlotte Day, Jessica Barnett and Katie Holmes have all been promoted to Senior Associate, recognising their individual achievements, dedication and contribution to the business.
Charlotte qualified as a Solicitor in 2016 and joined Timms in August 2018. After being promoted to Associate in 2022, she now serves as Head of Wills & Probate at the firm’s Swadlincote office, where she leads a busy team of 12 staff.
Jessica Barnett, an award-winning solicitor and recipient of the Derby and District Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year award in 2022, qualified in 2020. She works within the firm’s Private Family Team and has built a strong reputation for her work in Family Law.
Based across the Derby and Burton offices, Jessica has significant experience in complex matters involving arrangements for the care of children, as well as divorce and financial cases for both married and unmarried couples.
Katie Holmes, Head of Residential Conveyancing, has been with Timms since 2012 and leads the firm’s 11-strong conveyancing team across its four offices in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, Burton-upon-Trent, Swadlincote and Ashby. She studied Law at Sheffield Hallam University, graduating with honours in 2009.
