Isabelle has begun a two-year training contract with the firm, having spent the past three years working as part of Timms' busy family law team.
A law graduate from Leeds Beckett University, Isabelle has also completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) while working at the firm.
The promotion reflects Timms Solicitors' commitment to developing home-grown talent and investing in the next generation of legal professionals.
Adrian Rose, Partner and Training Principal at Timms, said: “In Isabelle’s three years at Timms, she has shown her commitment to the firm and its clients.
“She deserves the opportunity to progress in her career now as a trainee solicitor. Myself, and my colleagues in other teams across the business, look forward to working with Isabelle and we wish her all the best.”
An exciting next step
Isabelle said she was looking forward to taking the next step in her legal career and continuing her development with the firm.
“I am really excited to take this next step in my legal career, and I can’t thank the team at Timms for giving me this opportunity,” she said.
“It is an exciting time and I am really looking forward to what the next two years bring.”
Timms says it remains committed to achieving growth through home-grown talent, working closely with its young professionals to provide the support, training and qualifications they need to build successful careers.
The promotion comes during a period of growth for the firm, which moved its Derby operation to newly refurbished offices on Queen Street in August.
The move has provided a more collaborative and flexible working environment for staff while allowing Timms to retain a prominent city centre presence in Derby's Cathedral Quarter.
