Mercia Image Print, the Little Eaton based Commercial Printer, has appointed a new Business Development Manager to support their current sales team, following increased orders in print and their new bespoke product packaging.
Leah Asher-Gent, joins Mercia after five very successful years in Print, following a career in recruitment, and brings an added depth to the current team.
“I am quite creative and artistic” commented Leah “so my involvement in clients’ projects proves I have a passion for print which matches with Mercia’s passion ethos. I love to watch a client’s business develop and suggest new and innovative ways to help market their business through print. I am reliable, very dedicated and like to build strong relationships with my clients so that they can lean on me and trust that I will do a great job for them”.
Leah, joins Mercia at an exciting time, having recently merged with The Print Design Factory (Sheffield) and after launching a new bespoke packaging range, which is growing rapidly.
Amanda Strong, Mercia’s Company Ambassador, agreed “Our business has survived a very difficult year, like many businesses, so Leah will be a great asset getting out and meeting potential new customers for – especially on the packaging side. She is friendly, bubbly and knows the Print business inside out so will be perfect for our clients”.
And what about the work life balance? “At home, I’m a wife and Mum to two incredible humans” said Leah “… and a chihuahua (who is more demanding than the kids most times!). Me time,”she continued” is few and far between these days but when I can, I enjoy creating in my sewing room, I love a Chinese and I’m quite partial to a glass or two of wine on a Friday!”
Leah is the perfect fit for Mercia Image and should bring in some excellent new clients and new business.
