These are undoubtedly challenging times.

Despite the reported very low COVID transmission rates within hospitality settings pubs and restaurants are being targeted for ever-increasing restrictions.

Following the news that as of Saturday, 31st October our pubs will be under the Government’s Tier 2 regulations, we wanted to let you know what that means for Berkeley Inns and you.

Our pubs will be open as usual and remain the same safe and pleasant environments for you to escape to and enjoy. The main significant difference will be that you may only dine indoors with people from your household. The exception is for a business/work meeting, where up to six people may meet.

We will be endeavouring to make contact with all our customers that have made reservations to check what they would like to do and to let them know about the new rules.  We will do so for all new bookings at the point of reservation. Should you wish to review our covid-19 guidance, please take a look at our website via this link www.berkeleyinns.com/covid-19-response/

It is still possible for six people to meet outdoors. We have our outdoor garden rooms available, but unfortunately, they must be open to the elements to be considered outdoors if more than one household is present, so wrap up for the cold. We also have additional outdoor heated spaces available for you.

We look forward to welcoming you soon, and if you have any further queries about the rules and regulations, please feel free to call us and speak with management.
