Restaurants & Cafés

The only restaurant in Derbyshire to have the ‘Bib Gourmand’ accolade earned in the 2015 Michelin Guide. Iberico World Tapas brings together the rustic simplicity of Spanish tapas with the refined ingredients of world cooking. Definitely not one to miss if you are looking for an excellent tapas meal out in Derby.

Terroir Bistro is the culmination of over a decade of work promoting and growing and rearing local food and is an antidote to soulless restaurant chains and factory farmed livestock.

HIDE is a burger bar based in Derby’s converted Magistrates Court, now named Riverside Chambers. The owners wanted the burgers to be the focus of the bar, not just a menu filler; and set about picking the best meats, buns, fries and fillings to create the perfect British Burger. Having eaten here a couple of times, I can say it is probably the best burger I have ever had.

Restaurants & Cafés

Located in a prime position in the unique Sadler gate, an area which specialises in independent retail and services and is packed with character and charm; the Wonky Table prides itself on delivering the best European- influenced bistro style dishes, freshly prepared on the premises and utilising as much locally supplied produce as possible. Try some of the vegetarian dishes on the menu, the might surprise by just how good they are.

Restaurants & Cafés

French restaurant based on Friargate. All dishes are freshly prepared by their chefs, using a mix of artisan provincial ingredients and carefully selected locally sourced ingredients, in the style of typical continental bistrots.

A firm favourite in Derby, the bistrot provides a truly authentic experience, that you would find in any French town.
