Hi, I’m Annie and I was born and raised in Rhode Island in New England U.S.A. I grew up down the road from where the first ever diners started and I’d like to invite you to visit our new, American style venue in Derby!
I moved to the East Midlands in 1994 after visiting Derby in 1991 and falling in love with the area!
I started Annie’s in 2009; my love of real ale started here, in the Midlands, and with the perfect combination of Real Slow Cask Ales and handcrafted traditional American burgers, the Burger Shack dining experience was born!
We are not about fast food, we believe in the experience… so I look forwards to hosting you in our beautiful new Burger Shack, where I hope you’ll enjoy your surroundings and enjoy your time with us. Inspired by New England, and now open in Derby (as well as Nottingham!)

Food on offer at Annie’s
All burgers are served on a toasted classic sesame bun with crisp iceberg lettuce, tomato and mayo.
Every burger meal comes with a choice of skin-on skinny fries, seasoned curly fries, homemade Cajun or salted wedges. Change your fries to sweet potato or beer battered onion rings for an additional £1.50.
