Get ready to be inspired by Celebration – a vibrant showcase of creativity from children and young people taking part in VirtuSchools and QUAD’s Schools in Residence programme.

Over three years, and with generous support from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation’s Arts-Based Learning Fund, students across Derby City have explored, experimented, and excelled through high-quality, artist-led learning in their own schools.

From dynamic workshops at Horizons Sixth Form and Derby Moor Academy to collaborative projects at Pear Tree Community Junior School, each piece on display tells a story of imagination, discovery and joy. Curated by the QUAD Schools in Residence Team alongside Technical Manager Darius Powell and Curator Jodi Kwok, Celebration is both a tribute to young talent and a testament to the power of arts education.
