Residents in and around the Six Streets area of Derby will be opening up their doors and welcoming visitors for the fifth biannual Six Streets Arts Trail.
With more participants than ever, 30 residents and community venues will host over 50 artists and makers displaying and selling their work.
Exhibitors will include painters, printers, textile artists, ceramicists, photographers and jewellery makers. There will also be impromptu performances from local buskers and bands, a choir, pop-up cafés and trees ‘yarn bombed’ with handmade knitted decorations.
The Trail is open from 10am – 5pm both days and a Guide listing artists and where to find them will be on sale throughout the event to ensure visitors make the most of the event.
The Six Streets area is to the north of Kedleston Road, Derby, and includes Bromley Street, Park Grove, Wheeldon Avenue, Statham Street, White Street and Parkfields Drive.
