Six Derby and Derbyshire poets working in collaboration with She Speaks UK, have taken inspiration from Derby’s rich heritage to create spoken word pieces highlighting women’s stories from history.
Each poet has performed their poem in unique locations in Derby captured on film and will perform these pieces in person for the first time at the Museum of Making.
Including performances by Suzanne Fraser-Martin, Camille MaCawley, Sophie Sparham, Charlotte Lunn, Jenny Raynor and Aoife O’Connor.
Originally commissioned as part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site Great Place Scheme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England, produced by Beam.
