The Dolphin is Derby's oldest pub, dating back to 1530AD. Its age gives the place character and charm. With roaring real fires, guest real ales on tap and out the jug, as well as hearty, home-cooked food, you're always promised a satisfying and pleasant visit. The staff are knowledgeable about the ales and other drinks that are available. Prices are good for both food and drinks. It's a great place to visit with friends, or to go to solo to sit with your favourite book, a pint and plate of steaming pie and chips.Cathryn Sharpe
