A characterful all-day restaurant in Derby’s former Royal Hotel, serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails in the Cathedral Quarter.
Cosy Club Derby occupies the former Royal Hotel, which dates back to 1837, in the grand Royal Buildings at the corner of Victoria Street and Corn Market. Its characterful interiors provide the setting for all-day dining in the heart of Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, a few minutes from Derby Cathedral and the Market Place. The menu runs from breakfast and relaxed brunch — including bottomless brunch — to long lunches, dinner and late-night cocktails. Vegan and gluten-free choices are available, including crispy cauliflower and chestnut mushroom curry.
The restaurant is also close to Derby Theatre, QUAD and the Museum of Making, making it convenient to combine with a day or evening in the city. The Wallace Room, tucked at the back of the restaurant, offers a more private setting with historic character for celebrations with friends and family. Reservations are available, although walk-ins are also welcome when tables are available.
