The Museum of Making is situated in the Silk Mill, one of the world’s oldest factories.
Built by George Sorocold in 1702 the foundations and parts of the tower from the 1717 mill are still visible.
It is currently undergoing a major million-pound refurbishment to make better use of the museum.
